Wallace Lane

Wallace Lane is a poet, writer and storyteller from Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Coppin State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2012. He received his Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Publishing from the University of Baltimore in May 2017. Wallace is a persistent advocate for mentoring Baltimore’s youth. He is an instructor with Writers In Baltimore Schools, a program that provides literary development for middle school students in Baltimore City. Jordan Year, his debut collection of poetry, addresses what it means to live and survive in Baltimore City.
